Native Community Development Financial Institutions (NCDFIs) are transforming the Indigenous finance landscape by driving systems-level change, expanding access to capital, and redistributing wealth to Native communities.

The Mountain Plains Community Development Corporation (MPCDC) plays a vital role in this movement as a purpose-built organization created to support the growth and resilience of the Mountain Plains Regional Native CDFI Coalition.

Unlike conventional professional service providers, MPCDC is grounded in a mission-driven model that centers Indigenous priorities and community-led development. Our work is dedicated to building capacity, expanding culturally relevant resources, and fortifying the infrastructure necessary to support sustainable economic health in Native communities across Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

Our Coalition
Spanning South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming, The Mountain | Plains Regional Native CDFI Coalition is a group of Native-led community loan funds.
Also known as Native community development financial institutions (NCDFIs), that are fortifying the indigenous finance industry to create high-level systems change, increase access to capital, and redistribute wealth to Indigenous Communities.
