Mountain Plains Community Development Corporation (MPCDC) is seeking a qualified website designer/ developer to perform a basic redesign of our website.  MPCDC (the Organization) is a non-profit corporation that provides a range of technical assistance and capital services to Tribes, Tribal enterprises, and individual American Indian firms in Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota.

Project Overview: We are seeking a vendor to redesign our existing website to improve its look, usability, and compatibility with mobile devices. The updated site should be easy to navigate and maintain with the following goals:

  • Refresh the design to look modern and professional

  • Make the site mobile-friendly

  • Ensure important information is easy to find

Scope of Work: New homepage and layout for 4–5 standard pages (e.g., About, Services, Contact) using existing logo and brand colors. Simple content management using an existing Squarespace account website. Provide basic training on how to update and manage the site.

Proposal Requirements: The MPCDC requires proposals, at a minimum, to include the following:

  • Fixed cost bid to complete the redesign of the existing MPCDC website

  • Links to similar websites you’ve worked on

Timeline:

Proposal deadline: June 30, 2025

Project start date (approximate): July 15, 2025

Target launch date: August 15, 2025

Job Announcement — Projects Director

MPCDC is seeking a Projects Director to support the organization’s commitment to meeting the diverse needs of its membership. The ideal candidate is eager to drive projects forward, contribute ideas and solutions to MPCDC’s shared resource model, and build relationships with members and partners. The role includes working closely with our senior management team to contribute to member-driven projects, organize internal systems, manage various communications, and act in a problem-solving consulting capacity. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Denver, CO.

This dynamic position is best suited to individuals passionate about developing creative solutions in a collaborative work environment. As such, candidates with a variety of professional backgrounds are eligible and encouraged to apply for this position. Regardless of previous work experience, candidates must be:

  • Passionate about working in Native community development;

  • Organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive; and

Organization Description: 

Mountain Plains Community Development Corporation (MPCDC) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to support Native Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) in the Mountain Plains region. Our eight current coalition members provide access to capital and training in their respective target markets, which include Native communities across South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. MPCDC provides a suite of services to our members including “in-house” legal, accounting, and other professional services through an innovative shared resource model. 

Mountain Plains Coalition:

The Mountain Plains Regional Native CDFI Coalition is a group of 9 Native-led community loan funds, also known as Native community development financial institutions (NCDFIs), that create economic opportunities for tribal members through various types of affordable, low-interest loans and technical assistance training. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Initiatives Development

  • Workforce Development

  • Recruiting Initiatives

  • Manage and oversee keystone MPCDC Initiatives, such as GGRF

  • Capitalization and Fundraising Support

  • Technical Assistance Support for Coalition Members

  • Internal Support

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including: presentation, facilitation, drafting, editing, etc.

  • Strong project management skills including excellent time management with a proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and related software

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work with a variety of people and translate complex ideas clearly and simply

  • Exercise discretion and good judgment, and maintain confidentiality

  • Ability to ensure alignment of services with mission and strategy

  • Ability and willingness to deliver high-impact initiatives to support growth and innovation

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience working with Native communities [in the Mountain-Plains region preferred]

  • Relevant experience working in economic development

Compensation:

  • $85k – $110k depending on experience

  • Employee health and dental insurance premiums are covered at 100% and dependents at 50%

  • 401(k) with matching up to 5%

  • Generous time off and holiday schedule
